Bateman’s Barn dates back centuries, as you wind your way through narrow doorways and uneven floorboards, once you get your bearings! You start to notice all the beautiful pieces of history which have been carefully, and painstakingly preserved whilst allowing this beautiful house to join the 21st century.

I can’t imagine how many weddings this property has seen over the generations it has sheltered and looked after its custodians.

It was such a privilege to be part of Emily and Helena’s morning, and wonderful to see their creation come to life. The whole wedding theme was set around jewel colours with a bohemian eclectic twist. Both Emily and Helena worked tirelessly to make and design every aspect of their wedding day.
So much thought and attention went into this stunning day, from the individual cake toppers to the stunning cowboy boots!
