Welcome to my blog about Bridal Makeup. In this blog I thought it would be nice to outline what a makeup booking looks like with Amanda Steed Makeup. The process of booking and how we build a relationship with you, on your journey to your Wedding day.
Firstly thank you for taking time to read this Blog, I assume that you may have already looked at my website before landing on this page. However if you just clicked on this link please do go look at the rest of my website it should be easy to navigate, prices and information about our service are easy to find and self explanatory.
Once you have decided that you like our style and would like more information about the services we offer please click on the contact page in the Tabs, fill in all the details, as much detail as possible would be fantastic!
This allows me to understand it little more about you, it also saves time for you, answering all the questions I will then send back to you to establish what service you require. I can then let you have a comprehensive quote.
When you receive the quotation back please look through it carefully, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me, either by return email or via Wattsapp, there is a button on my website to link straight to me!
Should you decide to book with us then I will send over a Quickbooks invoice for the deposit to secure the date.
I give 48 hours for your to pay your deposit once you have emailed me to confirm the booking. Once this time has lapsed the date is then open in the system again. Checking you junk mail is really important too, with security measures being so high, if you do not receive a reply within 24 hours please check to see it is not in spam.
What happens now?
If your wedding is in the current year, we book in your online consultation and your full trial
The online consultation takes approximately 20-30 minutes, this is where I get to know you a little bit better, we chat through your ideas for hair and makeup, how your plans are going.
This is your opportunity to ask me questions, or advice about skincare or makeup and hair, and it’s lovely to put a face to the booking too, so that we get to know you!
Your trial will be at our purpose Built Studio in Briston, it has everything you need to have a relaxed and enjoyable trial preview of your wedding day look. We usually suggest it takes 2 hours for your trial, however we don’t put a limit on time, we want to get it right for you.
I ask you to bring along images on your phone of hair and makeup ideas you like, things you are not sure on but maybe would like to try, and also any images you have of your dress and your colour scheme. This really helps us to build a picture of your dream look
After the trial I will send over your schedule for the day, this will be all the timings for the morning and confirming the time of ceremony and the amount of guests for hair and makeup
I will then ask for 50% of the final balance and will send over invoices via quickbooks again. The final balance is due 2 weeks before the wedding date
